1. What can the Tenancy Support Service help me with?

The Tenancy Support Service can help any Tenants of Poole who are having difficulties in maintaining any aspect of their tenancy or living independently. If you are unsure you can contact Kieren Johnson, Tenancy Support Manager.

2. Who is eligible for the Tenancy Support Service?

Any tenant or leaseholder of Poole Housing Partnership is eligible for the Tenancy Support Service.

3. Who can refer to the Tenancy Support Service?

We accept any referrals, from other professionals involved in your case to self-referrals.

4. How long will I have to wait for support from referral?

All referrals are acknowledged within 5 working days, and assessment visits booked within 10 working days, following this, it is then allocated to a Tenancy Support Officer the following Monday. So it is approximately 3 weeks from referral to support. However in certain circumstances such as domestic violence assessment of needs can be completed within 24 hours and support offered within 5 working days.

5. Does the support cost me anything?

No, the support will not cost you anything.

6. How long is the support offered for?

It is a short-term support service, on average we support for approximately 6 months. It does vary depending on the support issues and can support on occasions for up to 2 years. Once the outcomes on your support plan have been achieved we will plan an exit programme and refer to other statutory or voluntary agencies, if there are still longer on-going support issues.
