3-year Strategy Complete
Residents input helps us complete strategic document
In April last year, we invited local residents along to a 'Resident Involvement Challenge Day', where we asked them to challenge our ideas, and help us formulate the Resident Involvement Strategy for 2007-2010.
Lots of residents came along to hear presentations from other housing organisations in Cornwall and London, and get some ideas on how we should be doing things here in Poole.
On the day we received lots of ideas and suggestions from residents about how we could make Resident Involvement better.
Resident Involvement Strategy Officer, James Weston has been working with the suggestions and ideas made by residents to create the new Resident Involvement Strategy 2007-2010, a document that now meets the needs of residents.
James says "I'd like to say a big 'thank you' to everyone who came along in April. Your input has really helped the process, and made compiling the document worthwhile because it contains your ideas and suggestions."
The finished strategy has been approved by local residents who are involved with the Housing Strategy Panel and on the Board. It will soon be available for everyone to access.
In order to be cost-effective, we're not planning to send out a copy of the document to everyone, but copies will be available in the Resident Resource Centre at Beech House. Alternatively, you'll be able to download a copy from our website Watch this space for news on when the final Resident Involvement Strategy for 2007-2010 will be available.
