Tenancy Support

The Tenancy Support Service offers support to Tenants of Poole Borough Council living in unsupported accommodation.

What support do we offer?

We offer support with maintaining your tenancy which may include:

  • Developing independent living skills
  • Accessing other services
  • Managing finances and benefits
  • Dealing with neighbour disputes
  • Maintaining household budgets
  • Ensuring your personal security
  • Maintaining the security if your home
  • Accessing local facilities
  • Accessing groups and services relating to your faith, religious beliefs or cultural needs

  • To Support Tenants to fulfil the obligations of their tenancies
  • To respond to the needs of vulnerable Tenants and their Families
  • To encourage independence and enable tenants to make choices in all areas of their lives
  • To promote equal access to opportunities
  • To encourage social inclusion for vulnerable Tenants


Who is eligible?

This service is only available to Borough of Poole Tenants, but within these confines is open to any Tenant who is not living in supported housing who may be in need of extra support in keeping to their tenancy agreement, or need help developing and maintaining independent living skills.

How can I make a referral?

A referral can be made by requesting a form from the Tenancy Support team.

Self referrals are welcome.
