Investor In People

The Investors in People (IIP) standard is a straightforward, proven framework for delivering business improvement through people. It is designed to advance an organisation's performance through its workforce and helps organisations to improve performance and realise objectives through the management and development of their staff.

  • We achieved the IIP standard by effectively demonstrating the following throughout our business practices:
  • We are really committed to developing our people
  • We have clear goals and make sure that everyone understands them
  • Our investment in people directly helps us to meet our goals
  • We understand the impact that our investment has on our performance

Positive About Disabled People

This award is a recognition given by the Job Centre Plus (the Employment Service) to employers who have agreed to meet five commitments regarding the recruitment, employment, retention and career development of disabled people.

By agreeing to these commitments and displaying the symbol on our website and correspondence it is clear to the disabled community that we welcome applications from them and in turn show that by employing disabled people we put ourselves in a better position to recognise, develop and deliver services to our disabled customers. Work Life Balance

This accreditation is awarded to organisations who give their employees a measure of control over when, where and how they work. Adopting the Work Life Balance means that we are able to attract and retain employees from a wider "market place".

It requires the organisation to ensure all systems and processes are working efficiently and that our staff are able to work very effectively whilst at work, but be able to maintain a fair balance between work and their home life.

Work-life balance is about adjusting working patterns. Regardless of age, race or gender, everyone can find a rhythm to help them combine work with their other responsibilities or aspirations. The award is given when an employer helps it's employees to maintain a balance between life inside and outside of paid work. The result mutually benefits the individual, business and society.
